Well, another Bruton Branch home owners association meeting is in the books. A fine meal was served and business was taken care of. A special thanks to all that brought a dish. Everything was delicious.
Hosting it at Station 14 gives us plenty of room and helps get the community more involved in the station and also lets the community see the progress we have made and learn what our future goals are.

I make a lot of jokes about the heat and how I am a summer person. However, I realize this extreme heat is deadly to some and is no joke. Please be very careful and stay hydrated. If you don't know educate yourself on the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Keep a check on the elderly, those with breathing problems and your animals. This too shall pass.

P.S.A.
Warm weather is here and it's a holiday. Lots of people will out in boats, ski doos and on motorcycles this weekend. Please be vigilant and watch out for the other guy. Recklessness, unattentiveness and plain stupidity costs many lives. Stay aware and be safe this weekend.
