Due to venue issues and staffing, this year we will not be having a powwow. We will be doing a Drum Dance Social at Niigaanagiizhik. We are calling all drums and dancers to come sing and dance to honor those ones who have served. We will still be having our Thanksgiving Feast at 5pm. Due to space issues we will not be having any vendors. If you have any question please reach out to the department at 906 635 6510. Miigwech!!

It’s been a busy three weeks in the Learning Lodge at Rudyard Schools. Smoked Fish, Indigenus Day, processing a Porcupine, and tomorrow we will finish up by dyeing quills. Then it’s time to close up for the winter and take activities back into the building.
