Small routines make a big difference!

Keep a consistent bedtime, pack backpacks (and library books!) the night before, and build a morning routine that works for your family.

These simple habits help students arrive ready to read, ready to learn, and ready to succeed. Let's make Every Day Count!

Sault Area Public Schools is thrilled to announce that multiple new middle school Career & Technical Education pathways will open at Sault Area Secondary School!

With over $1 million in support from the State of Michigan, combined with strong local investment, the vision championed by our Community Coalition is becoming a reality. We are creating opportunities for students to discover their talents and plan for their futures long before graduation.

By launching these programs for grades 6–8, students can explore their interests early, positioning them to take full advantage of advanced high school CTE courses, work‑based learning, and industry certifications.

This is a major step forward for student opportunity in the Sault.

🌱 Building Strong Foundations at Sault Area Schools! 📚✨

Early childhood education plays a crucial role in setting the stage for lifelong learning, confidence, and social growth. Providing our youngest learners with a supportive, engaging environment early on helps spark curiosity and build the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

We are so excited to continue expanding these opportunities with our new Junior Kindergarten program! Hear from our program lead, Meredith Bierling:

"I’m honored to be leading our new Junior Kindergarten program with Sault Area Schools. There is something truly special about helping children begin their educational journey, and I can’t wait to watch our youngest students grow in confidence, explore new ideas, and discover the joy of learning." — Meredith Bierling
