๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ The City of Sault Ste. Marie Fire Department has recognized personnel for their performance during the previous year. The recognition of Firefighter of the Year stands out as the selected individual has shown a commitment to the department, city and the people we serve, it is not an award this is given out, it is earned.

๐“๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ'๐ฌ ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐‹๐ญ. ๐€๐ง๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฐ ๐Œ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ง! Over the past year, Lt. Morrison managed our aging fleet and coordinated efforts to keep ahead of repairs while leveraging repair options that were mindful of our budget. This is an assigned task for Lt. Morrison, as the vehicle maintenance officer, but this past year was challenging. Lt. Morrison also coordinated the purchase of our new fire pumper, including specification review, inspections and outfitting.

Lt.
