American Legion Landt-Thiel post 470 Saukville WI, hosted the annual Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician of the year! The recipients of the 2024 awards are EMT Katie Baneck and Firefighter Pat Williams.

EMT Baneck has been on the department for 3 years and is a paid-on-call EMT. Katie puts in many hours on the overnight shift responding from home. Thank you EMT Baneck!

Firefighter Williams has been with the department for 1 year. Pat is always willing to help out with projects around the station. Thank you, Firefighter Williams!

Follow our new page Ozaukee Central Fire Department as the Saukville Fire Department page will be retiring soon. With the combined services you may see a Grafton Fire Department unit in Saukville and vice versa. Not pictured, a Paramedic Ambulance from the Grafton Station.

As you may know, On January 1, 2025 the Saukville Fire Department and Grafton Fire Department merged to become the Ozaukee Central Fire Department!

Ozaukee Central Fire Department now serves the citizens and visitors of both Saukville (Town and Village), and Grafton (Town and Village) out of their respective fire stations.

11/24/24 @ 06:34 Saukville and Grafton fire departments responded to a vehicle versus building at the Wisconsin Humane Society. One person was transported to a local hospital. Grafton building inspector was called to inspect the building to determine if it was safe to resume day-to-day operations.
