Environmental Stewards of Sauk Prairie To ensure the perpetuation of native animals and plants by preserving the natural landscapes in the Sauk Prairie area.

Our goals are to preserve native plants and animals by restoring our village parks and any other natural areas in the Sauk Prairie. Mission Statement: To ensure the perpetuation of native animals and plants through the restoration and management of natural areas and the promotion and education of natural landscapes in the Sauk Prairie area.

Sue's backyard native gardens have matured and some are spreading. She thins them out and pots them up. She gave me 4-5 flats to plant in a friend's new landscaping. I'm down to about 50 plants to go.

We are in the process of raising 8 Monarchs. The milkweed they were collected from had ants crawling around the plants. The chrysalis under the table is one that escaped one night because I didn't put the screen cover back on properly.
