I'll be touring the entire district today trying to get to about 35 - 45 polling places, starting in Ortonville, heading up the Dakota border, then down the I-94 corridor and shooting back to Big Stone County tonight. Keep an eye out for my Schultz For Senate truck (parked at least 100' from polling locations) throughout the day!

Thanks to everybody who assembled at UMM yesterday for Politics on the Prairie.
I’m especially grateful to Jayce Erin, Daniel Scott Runninggen and Preston Meyer, with whom I raced quickly through all six dorms after the event, hanging doors with GOTV information.

UMM is very important in this election.
The University vote will determine the plurality of Stevens County.
And the size of the Stevens County plurality will probably determine if Jay McNamer and I win the election.

Thanks again to everyone for their help.
And for their continuing efforts for the next 3 days to Get Out The Vote.

Affordable and accessible health care, especially for the large population of Seniors in District 12 is very important. Unlike that other party that says your on your own, you can trust John Schultz to do everything in his power to make sure that health care is both accessible AND affordable. This is important for everyone in Greater Minnesota.

Why We Need a DFL Majority.

If the last failed legislature proved anything, it's that the Republicans are completely unwilling to compromise or work in a bipartisan way on almost anything. To avoid future costly and inconvenient state government shutdowns, to end the partisan gridlock, and to actually do the work needed to FIX the problems in the state, we need to have DFL majorities in both chambers of the state legislature.

Vote DFL up and down the ticket for real solutions.

The Republicans spent 2 years pushing an agenda focused on social issues instead of helping Minnesotans rebuild their lives after the worst economic crash since the Depression. We owe our fellow Minnesotans better than that. We owe it to them to think about how they will feed their families, educate their children, how they will age, where they will work.

We need someone with a background as broad as the district he will represent. John Schultz is that man. District 12 is large and diverse. From the light manufacturing base in Stearns County to the tourism/leisure industry in the Lakes Areas to the large grain farms in the west, John Schultz can be part of the solution.

He won't hurt jobs by cutting your LGA, freezing education spending, and killing bonding bills, and he certainly won't cause your property taxes to go up ~8% by squashing the Homestead Property Tax Credit like that other party did. John Schultz: he's one of us.
