It's a great day to be a Bulldog! Happy First Day! (Remember the BSA has an 11:15 Dismissal today and tomorrow.)

The PTO will host it's first meeting shortly after the BSA Open House, but stay tuned for updates about our Fall Fun Run! Exciting things ahead.

One Last Fundraiser...

Tomorrow is a huge milestone for our 5th Grade Families at our annual Moving On Ceremony! Our new 5th Grade Committee will be there selling some graduation themed merchandise to help families celebrate their student's achievements.

All items will be $3-$10. Cash and Venmo accepted. All proceeds will help our rising 5t grade class for each of their special events next year.

First--Thank you to all our volunteers who made our first time hosting a parent run Field Day Lunch a success. We did it!

Just a reminder, tomorrow Monday June 8th at 7:30 Town Meeting will be discussing and voting on department budgets--including the budget for Saugus Public Schools. The Town Manger and Finacne Committee have recommended fully funding the budget School Committee approved. This is a first in several years.

If you support this, which will prevent further cuts in the district for next school year, please consider reaching out to your Town Meeting members to let them know you'd like to see the budget passed or please come to the meeting as a show of support/chance for public comment.

Also, we are looking for some new Board Members-- please reac out if you'd like a larger role in event planning and fundraising next year!

Krista Monastiero was so thoughtful to organize this! Jim is out on leave to help with family matters. If you want to participate to let him know he’s missed you can drop off cards at either of our houses or find us a pick up!

Cards for Jim! We would love to let our crossing guard Jim know how much he is appreciated and missed. Please feel free to let your children make a card, draw a picture or anything else they'd like to do. Jim brightens each of our mornings with a smile and a wave and we'd love to return the favor. By this afternoon we will have bins for drop off at 7 Third St and 34 Basswood Ave.

Good morning BSA Families!

We hope you had a wonderful vacation week with your student.

Just a quick FYI for fmailies who are interested:

There is Finance Committee Meeting this WEDNESDAY at 7PM at Town Hall.

This is the meeting where the School Department will present their budget the Finance Committee. Finance Committee members put together a recommendation that your Town Meeting Members will vote on in May.

If you have concerns about the disparities between the School Committee Approved Budget and the recommendation of the Board of Selectman (based on the Town Manager's recommnedation) this is a good oportunity to express your concerns.

Hey BSA Families and Local Community Members!

Operations Share the Fair is still happening and we need your help!

Students at the BSA are visiting their Scholastic Book Fair March 5th-March 12th.

We’ve already helped over 200 students go home with a book, but we need your help to keep the momentum going. We have over 600 students who still haven’t had their visit.
