Sardis - Ohio Community Center The Sardis Community Center (formerly Sardis Elementary School) is owned and operated by the Lee Township Trustees.

Sardis CARES is a fund-raising committee for the community center and administers this page. Following the closure of Sardis Elementary School, the Lee Township trustees purchased the building and grounds. Their intent was to keep the building and the grounds for the use of the community. The grounds include a basketball court, playground, and softball field. The building will be utilized for offi

ce space rental and rentals for one-time events. The center will serve the community for entertainment, education and other events that will benefit the good of the community. Contact

At our 250th celebration on July 3rd, you will be able to purchase souvenirs of this historic year. Sardis CARES will have our latest ornament ready for purchase. It celebrates our river heritage.

You can also pick up some handmade items which are custom-made products by a local Craftsman for the event.

Additionally, you can purchase a copy of the Monroe County genealogical chapters latest publication, Forged in War- Built by Hand: The

Thank you to those who have shared photos of their veterans for the Hall of Heroes at the Sardis Star-Spangled 250th Celebration Remember this is open to all veterans (they don't have to be from Sardis) and ALL wars and peacetime. You can get them to Shelley or Karen or drop them off at the Dally Memorial Library. PLEASE no originals. Copies only. Thanks!

This beautiful eagle was hand carved from monkey pod wood by a Hawaiian artist. It has been donated to by Marv's for the 250th celebration, representing the 50th state. Some lucky attendee on July 3rd will take it home with them. Our thanks to Marv's Restaurant for the donation!

Hey, Pilots, several of our Pilots are going to state! On Thursday, they will leave to participate in the state track meet. Let's give them a great send-off! They will leave from the Sardis Fire Department at 10am and go upriver. Put a sign in your yard or your business! Line the highway with cheering supporters! Give a few minutes of your time to show your Pilot Pride and support for our students. Please pass this on!
