Ohioans wanting 100% photo ID to vote:

A DANGEROUS constitutional amendment is being fast-tracked right now. It will trick voters into thinking they’re getting real photo ID requirements, while only applying partial ID for in-person voting and PERMANENTLY blocking photo ID for mail-in and absentee ballots.

This is a bait-and-switch that weakens election security.

Did you know if Ohio’s legislature passes the voter ID resolution HJR 9/SJR 10 as written for November‘s ballot, future legislators will NOT be able to pass laws to close Ohio’s current photo ID loop for mail and absentee ballots. Why would Republican officials do that to us?

I urge everyone to contact Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman and Senate President Rob McColley to revise this voter ID resolution to encompass photo ID for ALL voters and to remove any clauses that suggest only certain categories of voters can vote photo ID before this is voted on in June.

We cannot have Ohio voters unknowingly approving a voter ID constitutional amendment that enshrines unequal treatment of the law toward voters based on their method of voting. Every Voter should have the same standard photo ID applied to them when casting their ballot.
