As we continue to get snow this winter, please take a moment to help keep fire hydrants clear near your home or business.

Firefighters need at least 3 feet of space around a hydrant and a clear path from the street so hoses can be connected quickly during an emergency.

A hydrant buried in snow can slow down firefighters when seconds matter.

If there is a hydrant near your property, clearing it after a storm is a simple way to help protect your neighborhood.

Thank you for helping keep Saratoga Springs safe.
