The Sarasota Herald-Tribune is a radical leftist rag and they know what they are doing here by publishing a front page article and 5 social media posts to share the exact address of where Kyle Rittenhouse is working in Sarasota.

Check out the first image. The comment there is just the first of over 6,000 comments that I saw (I didn’t bother to scan thru more). Clearly a threat.

Very exciting project. Lots of girls have been turned away from playing youth softball because there wasn't enough field space. This changes that (in addition to upgrading a very old park). Lots of hotels will be book and restaurants filled due to tournaments taking place at this park. Sarasota County should be BEGGING Tesla to launch Sarasota County as CyberCab / Full-Self Driving Zone. The County Commission should pass a resolution asking them to come to town ASAP.

Why? Full Self Driving vehicles (Ex: CyberCab) fix a lot of problems. Here are a couple big ones:

1. Super-Senior Citizens (We have a lot) - 90 years old, trouble hearing and seeing? Need to go to a doctors appointment? CYBERCAB fixes that. You get in, and it takes you.

2. School Choice - Want to choose a school your child isn't zoned for, but that the bus doesn't service and you can't drop the kids off due to work? CYBERCAB fixes that.

3. Disabled Americans - Can't see? Can't hear? Your CyberCab can ensure you are taken to your desired location.

Lower cost than Uber.
Safer than Uber.
Will eventually be private/personal vehicles.

Sarasota County should be LEADING on this.

A Franklin, TN development company submits revised 324 unit complex that would save two Grand Trees located on Fruitville Road. Most historic buildings on the site would be demolished, from the 1920's and 30's.

After 27 years, our independent toy store - TOY LAB - is closing at the end of this month 😭

My girls grew up going there. Countless stops as we walked Main Street. Great products, awesome staff.

Sad. I’m sure we’ll just get another realtor showroom.

Another major loss for downtown.

BUILD THE RINK!

I believe competition between Manatee & Sarasota is healthy for both communities, and it makes our entire region BETTER.

With that in mind - This rink complex would allow Manatee to have a competitive advantage when it comes to figure skating & ice hockey.

Just as Benderson’s rowing facility draws in rowing teams from across the country, Manatee County would pull in ice sports. What hockey player or figure skater wouldn’t wanna be at the beach in the AM and then on the ice in the PM?

Sarasota has rowing 🚣 & the Sharks 🏊‍♀️ (both top of industry training facilities) and soon will have a first class softball 🥎 facility.

Manatee has IMG and could own the ice sports ⛸️ 🏒

Btw - Rink is best in LWR, near UTC, restaurants and lodging. The convention center area lack those first class amenities (not to mention families that will use it outside of major events).

Who remembers Charles Canterbury?

This dude reminds me of the Sarasota I first experienced when I moved here in 2006. He was a staple in downtown. Never bothered anyone, was just there to play his music.

I had wondered what had happened to him, but learned recently that he passed away a couple years ago.
