Saranac Community Schools would like to extend congratulations to our colleague and friend, Mr. Brian Powell. Brian will be retiring after the 2025-2026 school year. Mr. Powell, a 1989 Saranac graduate, started at Saranac in the fall of 2023 as a middle school math teacher, coming to us from Ionia Public Schools. Besides teaching, Brian has coached basketball, cross-country, and track during his teaching tenure. His positive impact on students has been truly amazing. Please join us in congratulating and celebrating Mr. Brian Powell

Mr. Stauffer and the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Bands finished the year last night with strong musical performances that included songs by the elementary band, junior high band, and the two combined. Great job!
