As part of Saraland's Stars, Stripes & Saraland celebration, residents are invited to participate in our Time Capsule Project by submitting letters, photos, memories and other meaningful items that tell the story of our community today.

Submissions will be accepted through July 2 and preserved until America's Tricentennial in 2076, giving future generations a glimpse into life in Saraland during this historic milestone.

Whether it's a handwritten letter, a favorite photo or a memory you want to share, your contribution can become part of Saraland's lasting legacy.

Items may be dropped off at City Hall through July 2. For more information, contact City Hall at 251-675-5103.🇺🇸

🚨 Sandbags Available for Saraland Residents 🚨

In preparation for potential severe weather and flooding, the City of Saraland is providing sandbags to residents.

📍 Pickup Location: 150 Station Street
🛍️ Limit: 10 sandbags per household

To receive sandbags, residents must:

✅ Be a resident of Saraland
✅ Present a valid photo ID with a Saraland address

⏰ Distribution Hours:
• Available until 6:00 p.m. today
• Distribution will resume at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow

Please take only the number of sandbags needed so we can assist as many residents as possible.

Stay weather aware, monitor local forecasts, and take the necessary precautions to protect your home, property, and family.
