This is a photo of Williamson Dairy, about 1912, prior to being purchased by Walter C Dupee, of Chicago, for his son Walter H Dupee. The father purchased the dairy farm to keep Walter safe. His son was involved in an affair while in Chicago, in which the woman's husband tried to kill him. To say the least, Walter loved polo, woman and drinking. The dairy was renamed Edgemoor, after the family's homestead in Chicago.
