To end the week with our biggest show of appreciation, students will share kind words by passing out guided compliment cards (or writing their own) and then pass them out to teachers and staff. The compliment cards came home last week in school packets. Can't find it, no worries we have been there too, students can write their own on any paper of their choosing. Share the love this Friday!

Para cerrar la semana con nuestra mayor muestra de agradecimiento, los estudiantes compartirán palabras amables repartiendo tarjetas de elogio guiadas (o escribiendo las suyas propias) para luego entregarlas a los maestros y al personal escolar. Estas tarjetas de elogio se enviaron a casa la semana pasada dentro de los paquetes escolares. Si no logran encontrarlas, ¡no se preocupen! For Thursday, our theme is healthy treats for teachers. While teachers love the sweets, they also need healthy treats to fuel their minds for teaching. Examples of healthy snacks include fruit, trail mix, or your favorite go to snack.

This week the PTA is providing a few meals for the teachers and staff. Your fundraising efforts get passed on to the teachers this week to show them how much we love and appreciate them. Thank you to the Madrone community for showing the love this week.

Para el jueves, nuestro tema son los refrigerios saludables para los maestros. Si bien a los maestros les encantan los dulces, también necesitan opciones saludables para nutrir sus mentes y mantener su energía para la enseñanza. Algunos ejemplos de refrigerios saludables incluyen frutas, mezclas de frutos secos y semillas (trail mix) o su refrigerio saludable favorito.
Esta semana, la PTA proporcionará algunas comidas para los maestros y el personal. Los fondos recaudados gracias a sus esfuerzos se destinarán esta semana a los maestros, como una forma de demostrarles cuánto los queremos y valoramos. It's the students' favorite time of year...BOOK FAIR is returning this week (5/7-5/11). Book fair will take place during lunch recess and after school, Thursday, Friday and Monday.
Students love the opportunity to shop their favorite books and more and this year's fair needs volunteers to help make it happen. La feria se llevará a cabo durante el recreo del almuerzo y después de clases, los días jueves, viernes y lunes. Tomorrow is Wonder Words Wednesday. To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week let's fill the school with KINDNESS.
Students are encouraged to write notes, cards, or draw pictures to their teachers and school staff to show gratitude and appreciation for all they do.

Mañana es el «Miércoles de Palabras Maravillosas». Para celebrar la Semana de Agradecimiento a los Maestros, ¡llenemos la escuela de AMABILIDAD!

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Show your appreciation and love to the Madrone teachers who work tirelessly for our children and community.

To the teachers who show up every day with patience, dedication, and heart—thank you.
You do so much more than teach. You guide, encourage, and help shape confidence in ways that last a lifetime. The impact you have extends far beyond the classroom, often in ways that aren’t immediately seen but are deeply felt.
We are so grateful for the care, energy, and commitment you bring to our community. Today and every day, we celebrate you. 💛

Today, and everyday, we are thankful for these two! From reminding us when to pick up our kiddos, to applying many bandaids and ice packs, they do it all!! Mrs. Shelton and Mrs. Clay- we appreciate you. Thank you for all you do for our Madrone community.

Today is our Multicultural Festival. This is such a fun event that includes performances from our community including Irish dances and Chinese dragons. Come enjoy the food and booths that showcases Madrone families and their cultures. Event is from 4:30-7 pm at the school. See you there!

Hoy se celebra nuestro Festival Multicultural. Es un evento muy divertido que incluye actuaciones de nuestra comunidad, tales como danzas irlandesas, tambores chinos y dragones. Reminder--TK/Kinder lunch bunch is Friday, April 3rd at 11:15. Any family members -parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc- are welcome to join their TK or Kinder kiddo for lunch . Please sign in by the office and then head to the cafeteria. See you Friday.
