City of Santa Rosa Community Engagement Bringing People Together -- Supporting Neighborhoods The views of the individuals posting comments do not necessarily represent the views of the City.

The Community Engagement Program is a place for residents of Santa Rosa to find out what is going on in their community and neighborhoods. It is about building a sense of shared purpose and group responsibility for making Santa Rosa the best place possible. TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT

Nominations are now being accepted for Santa Rosa businesses, individuals and organizations that deserve recognition for their (non-paid) volunteerism in serving the community and improving the quality of life in Santa Rosa. Anyone can submit a nomination if the nominee's volunteer efforts benefit the Santa Rosa community.

The Office of Community Engagement and the Santa Rosa Police Department are teaming up to host a drive-thru only gun buyback event and give up to $300 for each firearm (limit 3).

Join us on Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 301 Fulton Rd, and turn in your registered, unregistered, or illegal guns. You can help reduce the risk of gun violence, negligent discharges, domestic violence, gun theft, and su***de in our community with this simple action.

Transactions are anonymous. Only unloaded guns will be accepted. Leave all fi****ms in the trunk or rear access when you arrive. All guns are set for destruction. The City reserves the right to refuse any gun that is not functional.
