Santa Rosa history buffs and those interested in our past, come join us on September 13th at 6pm to preview and new 30 minute movie on the history of Santa Rosa. Gaye LeBaron will be there with Don Cambou the creator of this great look at yesteryear in Santa Rosa.

Hello History Club. Well schools about to start. I hope you all had a great restful summer. We have a lot on our plate this year. Seems the History Club has become the go to high school club for community service. You have built quite the reputation over the years and this year we will excede all of the previous years.

We start with a very exciting opportunity to es**rt patrons to the opening of a new 30 minute movie on Santa Rosa's history by Don Cambou and narrated by Gaye LeBaron on September 13th.

Next we will help once again on the annual History Hunt this time at the Rural Cemetery. People are just dying to participate.

We'll also have our Adobe clean-ups this year is especially exciting considering what's coming up for our favorite and almost forgotten piece of history.

That is just a taste of what is in store. There are many more opportunities awaiting us throughout the year.

Looking forward to seeing you all in a few days.

Santa Rosa High History Club, it's been a great summer and we have lots of projects to work on in the coming school year. However, big news and in huge part because of your efforts the Carrillo Adobe has been nominated to be put on the National Register of Historic Places. this will give the adobe and surrounding area protection from development and destruction. We're on our way to creating some kind of park perhaps even an historic interpretation park that schools will be able to bring students to. In addition we have representatives at the UNESCO meetings in San Diego to make it a World Heritage site. History Club, YOU BUILT THIS!

Hey History Club members past and present, this Friday April 1st the History Club and Canaveris on Lewis Rd. are hosting an ALL YOU CAN EAT soup, salad, bread and of course their famous raviolis for only $16.00. Come support us for our trip to Angel Island. That is the same night as the talent show so come have a FANTASTIC DINNER and go see the show.

History Club we have an adobe clean up day this Sunday, March 1st at 9am. Come take a look at the adobe and help us keep it clean and w**d free. Thanks for all you do!

The History Club is sponsoring a DROUGHT RESPONSIBLE car wash using bio-degradable soap with a soft touch this Saturday in front of Santa Rosa High this Saturday, from 11-3pm for only $5. Come support us as we raise money for our trip to NY-DC this June. As always, thank you for your support!

Hello History Club members past and present. This Friday is our fall BBQ at Canaveris Deli at 695 Lewis Rd. We have barbequed pork loin or half chicken or italian sausage sandwich, all served with creamy polenta, Canaveris delicious raviolis and salad. This a great deal at $15.95. Plus many of our students are busy baking for the bake sale that takes place at the same time. Dinner and dessert between 4-7 pm.
Come help the SRHS History Club help students take a trip of a lifetime to New York and Washington D.C. at the end of the year. We look forward to seeing you there.

The SRHS History Club will be cleaning up the grounds around the adobe this Saturday at 9 am. We'll be accompanied by several professors several professors of history, anthropology and archeology. Its gonna be a great outing!
