💛Come Out to the Rodeo & Support Colin!

Some of you may have had the chance to meet Colin with Liberty 4-H at the Youth Agricultural Leadership Foundation dinner — whether at our community club tables, while serving food, or on stage helping with the Heads or Tails coin flip or at other 4-H events and activities in the community. (love the shark face painting-Lytton Springs 4-H)

For the past year, Colin has courageously faced the challenges of pediatric cancer and ongoing treatments.

Colin has been selected to be honored at the Grand National Rodeo at the Cow Palace in Daly City, CA, as part of the Golden Circle of Champions, an initiative that helps raise awareness and support for children and families affected by pediatric cancer.

Enjoy a night out at the rodeo, cheer on Colin, and help support a cause that provides meaningful support to kids and families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.

If you purchase tickets through the link below, Cow Palace has indicated that the tickets will be upgraded so that you can sit together near where Colin is sitting.

Liberty 4-H is off and running!

The club kicked off the new 4-H year with a fun meet and greet and are excited about all the fabulous projects our members can explore this year.

From bread making and fishing to club favorites like dirt bikes and beekeeping, there’s something for everyone.

Enrollment is now open for the 2026–27 4-H year! If you have questions about our community clubs, day & overnight summer camps, soccer, or STEM or would like more information, give us a call at 707-565-2836.

Congratulations to all of our club officers and club leaders who participated in this week’s Officer & Club Leader Training as we prepare for another exciting 4-H year!

A huge thank you to Dana for leading this event, and to our incredible volunteers who facilitated each officer position: Christine, Darren, Diana, Judy, Kelsey, Sara, Stefanie, Tiffany, and our County Ambassadors—Amelia, Bobbie, and Hannah. Your time, knowledge, and dedication help set our youth up for success.

Thank you as well to all of our club leaders who attending the training and investing your time to prepare for another amazing 4-H year. Your commitment, mentoring, and dedication makes a lasting impact on the youth in our county! Looking forward to another fantastic 4-H year.

The dedication, hard work, and countless hours 4-H and FFA members invest in their projects are truly inspiring.

This group of youth is especially meaningful because their grandparents and parents are current or former club and project leaders, all sharing in the 4-H experience. It speaks to the lasting impact 4-H & FFA programs have on generations of families, continuing traditions while building lifelong connections and valuable skills.

Beyond the ribbons and awards are the lessons learned in responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and confidence—qualities that last a lifetime.

🌟County Ambassador Spotlight🌟

Hi my name is Amelia Chapman, I’m 16 years old and I have been a member of the Penngrove 4-H club for 11 years. I show market and breeding rabbits, market and breeding sheep, dogs, cavies, and poultry.

I am so excited for the year ahead and hope to inspire more kids across the county to explore all of what 4-H has to offer.
