Venice Family Clinic Early Head Start

Venice Family Clinic Early Head Start CFEHS aims to optimize the quality of life for infants, toddlers, and pregnant women by fostering child development education and parent empowerment.

Applying to CFEHS:

Children First Early Head Start is free to income-eligible families that meet U.S. poverty income requirements; families with children from birth to 3-years old and/or prenatal families/pregnant mothers. All families who meet eligibility criteria will be considered without regard to race, color, sex, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnic group identification, national or

igin or ancestry, or mental or physical disability. Eligibility Criteria:
- In order to be eligible, you must live in Venice, Mar Vista, Palms, West LA, Santa Monica, Culver City, Inglewood, Westchester, Robertson/Cadillac area
- Families with children 0-36 months or prenatal - Income Eligible (families must qualify according to federal Poverty Guidelines)
- 100% Federal Poverty level
- All applications are scored on an established point system, reflecting highest needs for services

Services Offered:
- Child Development and early childhood education
- Parent education, advocacy and involvement
- Child health, safety and wellness
- Nutrition and dental services
- Networking families with community and social services and resources
- Disabilities, wellness and mental health services available


El Programa Primero los Niños de Early Head Start es gratis para familias que están bajo el nivel de pobreza de acuerdo a las pautas de los E.U.; las familias con niños de 0-3 años de edad y/o familias prenatales/mujeres embarazadas. Todas las familias que reúnen el criterio de elegibilidad serán consideradas sin importar la raza, el color, sexo, género, religión, orientación sexual, identificación con cierto grupo étnico, nación de origen o linaje, incapacidades mentales o físicas.
