During Mental Health Awareness Month, is proud to recognize the many partnerships that help support student wellness across our schools. 💙

SMMUSD joined the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) for an end-of-year celebration honoring social work interns completing their practicum experiences in schools throughout the county.

Through partnerships with organizations like LACOE, SMMUSD students receive additional therapeutic counseling and mental health support from Master of Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy interns working alongside school teams across the District.

Thank you to all of the interns, counselors and mental health professionals dedicated to supporting student well-being each day.
