Here is the forum put on by the League of Women Voters earlier this week. Hope you watch it and learn more about all the candidates and vote on Nov 6th! I believe in the importance of educating the whole child and that schools work best when everyone works together for this common goal. I have been an educator, counselor and parent for the past 20 years. I have worked in 8 different schools and 3 districts with students grades K-12. I have 6 children of my own in the public education system. My oldest is a graduate of UC Irvine and my daughter just started school this week at UCLA as an engineering student. My youngest child just started Kindergarten and my other children are in grades 11 and 9. I have been a school counselor for thousands of students. I have spend my life listening to the issues they face and have proudly watched them overcome them and go on to do great things in our community. I am passionate about the difference caring adults can make in the lives of a child and the power of education! Share this post!
