¡Faltan solo un mes para los nuevos y emocionantes cambios en las rutas de SMRT para este verano! 🚌☀️ A continuación, les adelantamos lo que entrará en vigor a partir del 1 de julio:

- NUEVA Ruta 14 al aeropuerto por W Main St y S Blosser Road ✈️
- La Ruta 4 ahora pasa por Crossroads
- Las rutas 4 y 5 se han ajustado a un horario de paso cada hora para mejorar la puntualidad ⏰
- ¡Las rutas 5 y 40 han añadido paradas! 🚏

Para ver la nueva Guía de Rutas, ¡mantente atento durante las próximas semanas a nuestros autobuses, a los puestos de guías de rutas en el Centro de Tránsito y a los centros cívicos y comunitarios de Santa María!

New and exciting summer SMRT route changes are just around a month away! 🚌☀️ Here’s what we’re doing effective July 1st to give everyone a heads up:

- NEW Route 14 to the Airport via W Main St and S Blosser Road ✈️
- Route 4 now serves Crossroads
- Route 4 and 5 have been corrected to an hourly schedule to improve on-time performance ⏰
- Route 5 and Route 40 have added stops! 🚏

To see the new Ride Guide, keep an eye out over the next few weeks on our buses, ride guide stands at the Transit Center, and civic & community centers around Santa Maria!

DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT FEEDBACK

Caltrans, in partnership with the City of Santa Maria, invites the community to share input on preliminary design concepts for Santa Maria Street and Broadway as part of a downtown planning study.

The planning study is set to transform downtown Santa Maria by making it easier and more enjoyable to get around. Exciting bike and pedestrian improvements are on the horizon, paving the way for a vibrant, connected community. These enhancements are not only designed to boost accessibility but also open new funding opportunities that will help bring big ideas to life.

‼️📲Respond through the short online survey in the link in bio, which will be available through the end of April.

“This is an important opportunity for the community to help guide the future of downtown Santa Maria. Public input ensures these improvements serve everyone,” said Finn James, Caltrans Planning Liaison.

OPINIONES SOBRE LA REURBANIZACIÓN DEL CENTRO DE LA CIUDAD

Caltrans, en colaboración con la Ciudad de Santa Maria, invita a la comunidad a compartir sus opiniones sobre los conceptos de diseño preliminares para las calles Santa María y Broadway, como parte de un estudio de planificación del centro de la ciudad.

El estudio de planificación tiene como objetivo transformar el centro de Santa Maria, haciendo que desplazarse por él sea más fácil y agradable. Se avecinan emocionantes mejoras para ciclistas y peatones, allanando el camino hacia una comunidad vibrante y conectada. Estas mejoras no solo están diseñadas para impulsar la accesibilidad, sino también para abrir nuevas oportunidades de financiamiento que ayudarán a hacer realidad grandes ideas.

We’re excited to announce 50 days of 0.50 cent rides for our 50 year anniversary on SMRT starting TODAY April 23rd! 🪙🪙

Pull out your quarter stash and get ready to save by riding SMRT for 50 cents from April 23rd until June 12th! Usual SMRT rules apply, operators do not carry change. Prepaid passes will be sold at standard rates. 50 cent fares apply only to fixed route routes - ADA and demand response service fares will remain at their standard rates.
