Across northeastern New Mexico, getting fresh food from local farms to schools, senior centers, and families can be a challenge.

That’s where Ogallala Commons comes in. Led by Berlin Ervin, they connect local producers with the communities they serve — aggregating harvests, handling logistics, and helping farmers focus on growing.

With support from the Healthy Food Financing Fund, a new cold storage facility is strengthening the region’s entire food network.

As Berlin says: “New Mexico grown means New Mexicans feeding New Mexicans.”

We’re investing in the people who grow our food, strengthening local economies, and making healthy food more accessible — one farm, one family, one community at a time.

☀️ New jobs. New energy. New Mexico.

Today, we celebrated ARRAY Technologies’ 22-acre expansion in Albuquerque.

A homegrown New Mexico company and one of the state’s few publicly traded companies, ARRAY is a global leader in utility-scale solar tracking technology. Its systems help solar panels follow the sun, increasing their efficiency and helping generate more clean energy.

With support from the State of New Mexico, City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County through LEDA, ARRAY’s expansion will create hundreds of new jobs and generate hundreds of millions of dollars in economic impact.

Congratulations to ARRAY on this next chapter of growth in New Mexico!

Behind every food product is someone who took a chance on an idea. Three Sisters Kitchen in Albuquerque helps make that chance a little less daunting. As a food business incubator, it gives aspiring entrepreneurs the training, community and commercial kitchen space they need to test and launch their ideas.

With support from the Healthy Food Financing Fund, Three Sisters Kitchen outfitted a manufacturing kitchen where new food businesses can prove their concepts before investing their own capital.

The result? More entrepreneurs, more local products and more food made by New Mexicans.

Today we celebrated a big milestone for Curia and for Albuquerque!

Curia is a biopharmaceutical company that makes medicines and helps bring them from the lab to patients. Their Albuquerque expansion includes a new high-speed vial filling line that can produce 400 vials every minute and is expected to create more than 250 jobs.

Having the ability to make vital medicines right here in New Mexico is a real strength for our state. Growing our bioscience industry means more good jobs and more opportunity for New Mexicans.

As Curia CEO Philip Macnabb said today, “This is a hope factory.”

Congratulations to the entire Curia team!
