The New Mexico Developmental Disabilities Council’s draft Five-Year Plan for 2027-2031 is now available for public review and comment, and the Council wants to hear from you! The Five-Year Plan outlines the Council’s goals and objectives to improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families in New Mexico, through its work over the next five-year period.
The goals and objectives in the draft plan were developed based on feedback received from people with I/DD, family members, advocates, service providers, and community partners from across New Mexico. Comments on the draft Plan for 2027-2031 can be sent by email to [email protected]. Comments are being accepted through Thursday, July 16.
