🇺🇸 Memorial Day 2026 🇺🇸

Today, the Pueblo of Pojoaque Police Department joins our community and our nation in solemn remembrance of the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States of America.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a day to pause, reflect, and honor the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who gave everything so that others may live in freedom. Their legacy is carried forward by their families, their communities, and a grateful nation that must never forget the cost of liberty.

To the Gold Star families and all loved ones who carry the weight of that sacrifice every day, we stand with you, we honor you, and we thank you.

From all of us at the Pueblo of Pojoaque Police Department, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

🇺🇸 Honor. Remember. Never Forget. 🇺🇸

🚨 Technology, Teamwork, and Public Safety in Action 🚨

The Pueblo of Pojoaque Police Department continues to use innovative, forward-thinking policing strategies to protect our community and enhance officer safety.

During a recent response involving a burglary suspect, Pojoaque PD utilized drone technology in conjunction with a K-9 deployment to quickly and effectively search the area. The drone provided critical overwatch, allowing officers and the K-9 team to better assess the environment, monitor movement, and search more efficiently while reducing risk to officers, community members, and the K-9.

Drone deployment is a powerful force multiplier for our agency. Whether used during the day or at night, this technology allows us to cover larger areas faster, gather real-time information, and support officers on the ground during rapidly evolving incidents.

Pojoaque PD will continue to deploy drones as part of our commitment to proactive policing, officer safety, and the protection of our community.

One Community. One Commitment. We Are Together.
