We are dedicated to assisting homeless individuals and families by providing emergency shelter, food, case management, counseling, supportive housing and referrals to partnering human service agencies. Elizabeth shelter runs an emergency shelter for men; an emergency shelter for women and families; three supportive housing programs for families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities; a biweekly Resource Center; and a homeless court.

We’re proud to share some wonderful news from our leadership team.

After stepping in as interim directors and guiding our organization with dedication and heart, Nick Svetnicka and Riyah Garcia are moving into permanent leadership roles.

Nick will now serve as Director of Communications and Development, continuing to share our story and build the partnerships that make our work possible. Riyah will step into the role of Director of Emergency Services and Operations, leading the programs that provide safety and support to those who need it most.

We’re grateful for everything they’ve already brought to this work, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead. Please join us in congratulating Nick and Riyah on this well-deserved next chapter.

Dear Friends of St. Elizabeth Shelters,
Giving feels good, right? I wanted to let you know that our clothing closet is almost empty, and we are in desperate need of clothing for our clients. We are especially in need of pants, shorts, and shirts.

Thank you so much for helping us make sure our clients have �access to the clothing they need!

If you can help, please drop off clean clothing donations at The Men’s Shelter, 804 Alraid Street. For large donations, please call in advance at 505-982-6611.
