NMDVR State Office employees (from left) Manuel Chavez, Jeff Levine, Bobby Sanchez, and Henry Jannenga Jr. honored the September 11 anniversary with a morning of community service.

They cleaned several blocks along the Santa Fe River with about 50 other state workers from Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham's office, New Mexico Public Education Department, New Mexico Early Childhood Education and Care Department, and the New Mexico Tourism Department, as well as community partners Trash Pandas and Urban Alchemy.

It is our pleasure to partner with EPICS - Education for Parents of Indian Children with Special Needs and other organizations across the state to serve young New Mexicans with disabilities.

A huge thank you to the New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) for joining us as a guest speaker during today’s EPICS workshop!

We appreciate DVR taking the time to share valuable information about the services and supports available to individuals with disabilities as they prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce.

From career guidance and counseling to job placement assistance, vocational training, transition services, rehabilitation technology, interpreter services, and more - DVR provides individualized support tailored to each person’s needs, skills, and goals.
