As we prepare for the heat to start cranking up here in Texas ☀️🔥, we’re preparing for a long, hot summer and we need your help!

We’re asking for donations of cases of bottled water to help keep our firefighters and medics hydrated while they’re out on calls. With temperatures climbing and long hours spent in full gear, staying hydrated is critical for their health, safety, and performance.

If you’d like to donate, please drop off at Station 1 on highway 6.
Every case makes a difference and is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for always supporting those who serve our community! ❤️.

Warpath Avenue, which runs between Highway 6 and 6th Street, will close for reconstruction beginning this Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

The purpose of this reconstruction is to upgrade Warpath Avenue from asphalt to concrete, which has been proven to last longer (decades) and require significantly less maintenance.

This project has been scheduled to coincide with Santa Fe ISD's summer vacation to minimize the traffic impact, and is projected to be completed before school begins on August 12, 2025.

Detours are as follows (please see attached map):

To access HEB, Whataburger, and PNC Bank, you may use the Highway 6 entrance.

To reach Santa Fe Junior High, you may take 6th Street to the rear auxiliary access road (across from Santa Fe Sports).

To reach Kubacak Elementary, you may use the 6th Street entrance across from Mae S. Bruce Library or take 7th Street from Avenue Q 1/2.

For access to the SFISD Tax Office/Cowan Administration Building/SFISD Police Department, you may take 7th Street from Avenue Q 1/2.
