We have confirmed the first detection of West Nile Virus in Cerritos, Hawaiian Gardens, and Sunland this year. The virus was detected in mosquito samples collected in the community. Eliminate standing water at least once a week, use insect repellent, and wear long-sleeved shirts and pants.

We have confirmed the first two detections of West Nile Virus in Pico Rivera and Long Beach this year. The virus was detected in mosquito samples collected in the community. Eliminate standing water at least once a week, use insect repellent, and wear long-sleeved shirts and pants.

Meet the BioGent (BG) Trap! 🔬🦟
This collapsible surveillance trap is specifically designed for monitoring Aedes mosquitoes, the aggressive day-biters that can transmit Dengue, Zika, and Chikungunya.

How it works:
