September General Meeting & Beach Day
Time: 3-5pm for meeting, 5pm-onwards for beach day

Member Input Question-
For the summer, the National Political Committee and Democracy Commission are asking chapters to think about what an endorsement of a 2028 presidential campaign would mean for DSA.
DSA Santa Cruz Calendar Discussion-
At the July Membership Meeting, the chapter voted to return to monthly meetings. Once every 6 months, time will be set aside during the meeting to discuss the calendar for the next 6 months. This gives chapter members the opportunity to guide the direction of the chapter. We will be collectively planning out future events, chapter efforts, trainings, debates, and more.
Beach party:
We're trying something a little different after the general meeting on September 12th. We are hosting a beach party directly after the meeting ends (5 pm) at Cowell's Beach! Do you like sun? Do you like sand? Do you like socialism? Well we got all three for ya not to mention food, drinks, and good company. No need to do extra prep for this one, we will be walking/arranging rides directly after the meeting. All you need to bring is yourself and an appetite!
Meeting Location: London Nelson Community Center (301 Center St)
Beach Party Location: Cowell Beach (21 Municipal Wharf) on the west side of the pier. Look for the red flag.
