DSA Santa Cruz is partnering with Your Allied Rapid Response (YARR) for Santa Cruz County to host a legal observer training instead of a regular chapter meeting in March.

YARR's mission is to document actions by ICE or other oppressive forces that would harm our fellow human beings, and to support targeted people with resources, community presence, and information before, during and after such events. These legal observer trainings empower you, and your community, to verify immigration enforcement activity in our communities and utilize legal observation skills to protect the legal rights of people being questioned, arrested, or detained. Join us on March 14th, from 3-5pm to become a rapid responder in our community.

Due to limit space, registration is require. Once registered, more event details will be provided in an email confirmation after registration, typically 2-3 days before the training.
