I use this "noisey" wand to locate the underground utilties. When found, I then grab my paint stick, ensure I am using the correct color, and mark the symbol that tells a story of whats under the ground. Fiber Optic Lines carrying data, internet, and other information.

🚨 Close Call: Gas Line Hit After No 811 Call 🚨

Last week in Sacramento , a simple home improvement project turned dangerous when a contractor struck an unmarked gas line while digging. The crew was installing a fence and skipped the critical step of calling 811 to locate underground utilities.

What happened next?
• Nearby homes had to be evacuated.
• Emergency services responded to contain the leak.
• The project was delayed, costing thousands in repairs.

This could’ve been avoided.

Every year, avoidable accidents like this happen because people don’t take the time to call 811 before digging. Gas, water, electric, and communication lines are often just a few inches beneath the surface—and one wrong move can lead to disaster.
