Tri-Counties Regional Center TCRC operates 6 offices in the cities of Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, Oxnard and Simi Valley.

Tri-Counties Regional Center provides support for individuals with developmental disabilities living in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties so that they may live fully and safely as active and independent members of our community Since 1969, the State of California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) has contracted with the Tri-Counties Association for the Developmentally Di

sabled (TCADD) to operate the Tri-Counties Regional Center serving the counties of San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura. With headquarters in Santa Barbara, TCRC maintains a staff of approximately 280 and serves a population of over 13,000 people with developmental disabilities.

Tri-Counties Regional Center, ARC of Ventura Co. and The State Council on Developmental Disabilities-Central Coast cordially invites you to join us for our next event, The In’s & Out’s of Informed Decision-Making and Independence. Join us at The Oxnard Performing Arts Center on June 10, 2026, 10a.m. to 3p.m. Open to all individuals/families supported by TCRC in Ventura County. Please assist us in spreading the word to our families and individuals; direct support staff are welcomed as you offer support to self-advocates.

Making informed decisions increases our ability to advocate for ourselves and others, and make impactful personal and system-wide change that benefit everyone—regardless of (dis)abilities!

Fire personnel are currently on scene of a fast-moving brush fire originating in the area of Sandy Avenue in Simi Valley.

The fire is currently estimated at 184 acres and threatening structures. Evacuation Orders and Warnings have been issued for the area.

The Ventura County Incident Information Line hotline has been activated. For any questions related to evacuations and sheltering please call 805-465-6650.
