SCE has notified customers that it is considering a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) in parts of Santa Barbara County due to an increased risk for wildfires. This outage may begin as soon as September 8, though it may occur earlier or later depending on actual weather conditions. If you live or work in or near the potentially PSPS impacted area, you should make preparations for a possible multiple day power outage. Call SCE at 800-611-1911 or visit https://www.sce.com/outages-safety/outage-center/check-outage-status for more info on this potential outage.

SCE ha notificado a sus clientes que estan considerando un corte de energia por motivos de seguridad publica (PSPS, por sus siglas en ingles) en partes del Condado de Santa Barbara debido a un mayor riesgo para incendios. Este apagon puede comenzar tan pronto como del 8 de septiembre, aunque puede ocurrir antes o despues, segun las condiciones climaticas. Si vive o trabaja en el area que pueda ser impactada por PSPS, o cerca de ella, debe prepararse para un posible corte de energia de varios dias.
