Headed to Europe for study abroad? 🌍✈️

ETIAS - ELECTRONIC TRAVEL INFORMATION & aUTHORISATION SYSTEM - is scheduled for implementation in late 2026. That means if you are traveling to Rome in the fall, or to Madrid in the spring, you need to be informed about ETIAS.

It’s important to understand what ETIAS annulment means prior to travel. Your authorization can be canceled if it was approved based on incorrect or false information.

The good news? You can usually reapply with the correct details ✔️

Double-check everything before submitting so your travel plans go smoothly!

Travel Rules for Students Entering Europe with ETIAS 🌍🎓

Got ETIAS approval? Here’s how travel works:

📌 Before you go, here’s your ETIAS checklist:
🛂 Valid passport (at least 3 months beyond departure)
📲 Approved ETIAS (linked to your passport—no print needed, but smart to have)
🎓 Proof of student status (acceptance letter, student ID, or program docs)
🏨 Accommodation details (hotel, or host/university letter)
💳 Proof of funds (bank statements, aid, or scholarships)
🎫 Return or onward travel ticket
⏳ Remember the 90/180 rule: ETIAS is for short stays only. If your program is longer than 90 days, you’ll likely need a student visa instead.

And don’t forget: ETIAS isn't an automatic entry, it's your gateway, not your guarantee. Border officers will still check your purpose and documents.

🌍 NEW SCHOLARSHIP, ONLY FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENTS LIKE YOU!

The Community College Access Scholarship is open NOW! Make sure to apply before the applications close June 1st!✈️

This scholarship provides $3,000–$5,000 to help cover costs like program fees, travel, passports, and visas, making global experiences more affordable for community college students!

Open to community college students enrolled in at least 6 credits, with programs running June 2026–May 2027
