A huge thank you to the hardworking Maintenance teams who responded to the Garden Grove Chemical Spill Evacuation and managed road closures in the potentially hazardous area.

Our teams worked tirelessly through the holiday weekend, sacrificing time with their families to keep the public safe and make sure emergency responders could do their jobs effectively. They put themselves in harm’s way, worked long hours and handled this rapidly changing situation with skill and dedication.

Our Sign Crew can make up to 100 signs a month that are created with reflective material that can stay operational for decades. They work hard to install and maintain these signs so drivers can make safe and informed decisions on the road.

This month, we’re celebrating the culture and contributions of Arab American communities in OC. Here at Caltrans, we’re proud to work alongside our Arab colleagues and appreciate the perspectives and talents they bring to our work and communities every day.
