Library and Archives INTERNSHIP @ Indian Pueblo Cultural Center
The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center Library and Archives documents the history and experiences of the Pueblo people through its collections. Collection efforts include a research library and the preservation of manuscripts, personal papers, official reports, photographs, and audio/visual materials on the historical and contemporary life of Pueblo people. The Library supports both published and unpublished monographs/book, while the Archives acquires, organizes, describes, protects, preserves, and makes accessible materials that support both community and academic interests. All priority materials acquired for the collection perpetuate the culture and history of the 19 Pueblo Nations of New Mexico to secure our place in the historical narrative. The Library and Archives serve the Pueblo communities as a repository of knowledge and education, while it also functions as a national anchor institution for educational efforts on/about Pueblo people
