please contact Police Dispatch at (817)246-4973. The goal of the Public Works Department is to promote mobility throughout the city while
providing total customer service satisfaction to our commercial and residential customers. Public Works oversees the administration and services of:
Stormwater utility
Park mainte

nance
Residential streets
Wastewater (sewer) collection
Water distribution and maintenance

Did you know pet waste is the #3 cause of water pollution? Pet waste is not fertilizer and must be picked up, every time, everywhere. If left on the ground, it can introduce harmful bacteria to waterways, creeks and lakes. It also increases the risk of parasites and illness to humans, pets and wildlife. It’s World Oceans Day! Oceans provide food, ingredients for medicine and the majority of oxygen we breathe, not to mention their beauty and adorable creatures that call them home. As much as we would like to believe in mermaids, it’s our job (as mere humans) to keep our oceans clean! Small things you can do to help protect our world’s oceans include: bringing reusable tote bags while grocery shopping, using reusable metal straws, and cleaning up litter in your community to make sure it doesn’t end up in the waterways.
