Excellence continues to shine at Seminole High School.

Seminole High School’s Noles Choir, under the direction of Samantha Torres Baker, has been selected as the 2026 “Choir of Distinction” by the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park — one of only two choirs chosen from Orange and Seminole Counties.

This recognition caps off an outstanding year for Seminole’s choir program. Festival Choir and First Take A Ca****la both earned Superior ratings at State Concert MPA, while students Afsheen Chowdhury, Caelin De Guzman, and Leila Ramos earned Superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble.

From the classroom to the stage, Seminole students continue to perform and achieve at the highest level. Congratulations to our incredible Noles Choir on this well-deserved honor.

What a GROOVY week celebrating our incredible teachers! 🍦🌸☕🥧🍩🧡

We kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week floatin’ into the week with root beer/soda floats and adorable cups, enjoyed a floral + coffee bar, a delicious PDQ lunch, pie bar, donuts, and wrapped it all up with cooler bag gifts from our PTSA!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated, contributed, and helped make this week so special for our staff. Your generosity and support mean more than you know. We are so grateful for a community that loves and celebrates our teachers so well! 💛
