Advocacy is how we make sure the voices of veterans with disabilities are heard.

At Paralyzed Veterans of America Central Florida, advocacy means working to protect rights, improve access, and push for meaningful change on issues that directly impact veterans and people with disabilities. From accessible air travel and adaptive housing to caregiver support, emergency preparedness, VA services and more, these issues matter.

Next week, House Democrats and House Republicans will vote on a bill that impacts thousands of heroes and their loved ones: the Sharri Briley and Eric Edmundson Benefits Expansion Act.

Despite the fact that this proposed legislation would honor the sacrifices of those who have served and military families, PVA is expecting considerable opposition.
