He proudly completed training as part of Class 26-01 Bravo-1, showcasing outstanding discipline, resilience, and determination every step of the way. Private Young now serves in the Crisis Response Battalion, stepping into a critical role that supports high-demand missions across the state.

Help us welcome Officer Brian Gintz.

With 28 years of law enforcement experience—more than half spent in a motor unit—Officer Gintz has served as a Traffic Homicide Investigator, Field Training Officer (FTO), radar and laser instructor, DUI instructor, and member of the Volusia County Emergency Response Team.

We’re proud to have him on the team and look forward to the leadership and experience he brings.

After more than 20 years of dedicated service to the City of Casselberry, he continued his commitment to the profession by joining the Sanford Airport Police Department on February 19, 2024. His work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond have made an immediate and lasting impact.

Please join us in welcoming Officer Tony Seda to the department! We proudly swore Officer Seda in on Friday, April 10. He joins us from the Lake Mary Police Department, where he served with distinction for 27 years and retired at the rank of Sergeant. We are very lucky to have his experience, leadership, and commitment to service on our team. Welcome aboard, Officer Seda!

These badges serve as a symbol of our respect for history, tradition, and continued service to the community. Our officers will proudly display these badges throughout this year and into next year as we join in celebrating this historic milestone.
