September is National Fruits & Vegetables Month!

Fruits and vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet and can be enjoyed in many ways. This month, we’re celebrating the colorful, nutritious foods that help support health and well-being at every age.

🍓 Add berries to breakfast

🥕 Keep cut-up veggies on hand for snacks

🍎 Choose a new fruit or vegetable to try

🥦 Add extra vegetables to soups, pasta, or favorite meals

🌽 Visit a local farmers market and enjoy what’s in season!

Small changes can make a big difference. Let’s make room for more fruits and veggies on our plates this month and all year long!

Our team was grateful to spend the day with our partners at UNE Coastal Healthy Communities Coalition at the Heart of Biddeford’s RiverJam event today!

Connecting with youth and families, sharing prevention resources and celebrating healthy choices is what makes community events like this so meaningful to the work we do.

And healthy even looks good on our very own Maine Celtics mascot— 🤩
