Bread of Life Ministries of Sanford

Bread of Life Ministries of Sanford Salvation Army runs a navigation center in the Bread Of Life building Monday through Friday from 9:00 am-2:00 pm.

Bread of Life is a 501c3 nonprofit that serves the needy through various programs such as emergency shelter, free healthcare, food pantry, meals for life, and clothing. There you can eat hot breakfast, shower, wash clothes and get helpful resources. On Thursdays from 12pm to 4pm you can also get groceries from our food bank.

MON 6/15
We had a new driveway opening put in on Maple Ave as an exit only.

TUES 6/16
Our Jumpstart fed 68 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor J gave a devotional on Romans 5:9 with the theme : Your Condition and Position.

H3 stayed busy seeing patients.
CUOC gave out 37 boxes of food for children.

WED 6/17
Our Cooling Shelter was open with 11 coming.in from the heat.

THUR 6/18
Our Jumpstart fed 120 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor J gave a devotional from Ps. 16:11 with rhe theme , Experiencing God's Presence.
Pastor J went to Raleigh to bring in food..

Our Foodbank served 120 families which represented 355 people.

Our cooling Shelter was open with 10 comimg in from heat.

FRI 6/19
Our Cooling Shelter was open with 12 coming in from heat .

SAT 6/20
We thank Gods Anointed Sisters in Christ for bringing a feast. There were 150 that came in to eat. Pastor J gave a devotional on Ps 78 and Isa 54 with the topic. Dont Limit God.

H3 STAYED BUSY with patients.

SUN 6/21
431 fed 60 after their service.

We thank all our volunteers and staff this week. Sarah, Carol, Katie, Bill ,Andrea, Jackie, Shirley, Rodger, Avon, Peggy, Allison, John Paul, Bev , Karen, Kathleen, Kate and Kim , David and Bonnie as well as others who helped. We also thank all who randomly dropped off donations - food or clothing.
We are very grateful for what God is doing. We continue to lift up Cindy Hall in prayer as she is in a season of healing right now. PRAY with us !

ACTIVITY UPDATE:
TUES 6/9
Our Jumpstart fed 82 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor J gave a devotional from 1 Jo 4:18 with the theme, Reject the Spirit of Fear.
CUOC used our location outside to give away 79 food boxes for children.
Pastor J went to Raleigh to bring in food.

H3 stayed busy giving medical assistance to others.

Thurs 6/11
Our Jumpstart fed 57 for breakfast and lunch. Pastor J gave a devotional from John 12: 24-26, with the theme, It takes Time.

Our Foodbank stayed busy.
Our Cooling Shelter was open. 12 came in from the Heat.

FRI 6/12
Pastor J brought in food from other agencies.
Our Cooling Shelter was open with 11 coming in from the heat.

Sat 6/13
Ebbenzar UMC from Apex provided our Meals fo Life. We had 75 come in to eat.
Pastor J gave a devotional from Ps. 27:4, The One Thing.
H3 was busy .

Sun 6/14
