Long story, really short - We buy sunglasses every year as give aways. Got ours this year but they were not ours... belonged to the Wyoming Pork Producers Council. Called the company, they said toss them. (They got the Wyoming group their glasses). So we donated the glasses to the Piscataquis Valley Fair to give away for this weekend's fair and now Roosters around town are not only directing traffic but sporting the glasses! Director Petermann spotted one in Dover Foxcroft today! Can't make these stories up... Have a great weekend.

This morning, members of the NH Air National Guard came to the Sanford Regional Technical Center to recognize recent SHS and SRTC graduate Gavin Ericson as he signed his enlistment contract and took his oath. The ceremony took place in the SRTC welding room.

During his time at SRTC, Gavin completed two programs: Welding & Metal Fabrication and Engineering & Robotics. This fall, he will attend the University of New Hampshire to study mechanical engineering while serving with the NH Air National Guard. Congratulations to Gavin!

In Atlanta at the National SkillsUSA Student Leadership and Skills Conference, Connor Wilcox won Gold!!!! He competed for SRTC and the State of Maine at the National level and took home first place in Electrical Construction Wiring. We are extremely proud of Connor and all of our SRTC contingent down in Atlanta. They had a great week. Good work!!!
