From the Lee County Republican Party
The Lee County Republican Party mourns the loss of our friend and colleague, Marcus Mason, who served as the Party's 4th Vice Chair and Public Information Officer.
We would also like the community to know that many members of our senior leadership team will be attending the North Carolina Republican State Convention at the same time as Marcus's memorial service in Sanford. During the convention, Marcus will be formally recognized and honored before Republicans from across the state in appreciation of his service and contributions to our Party. While we regret being unable to attend the local memorial service due to this commitment, we are proud that Marcus is being remembered and celebrated at the state level by the broader Republican family.
Marcus played an important role in our organization, managing the Party website, maintaining our social media presence, and helping ensure that members and the public remained informed about Party activities and events. His efforts contributed significantly to our communications, outreach, and ability to stay connected with the community.
Marcus was dedicated to his work and took pride in helping the Party effectively share information and advance its mission. Through his service, he strengthened connections within our organization and made a lasting impact on those who worked alongside him.
As Republicans from across North Carolina gather this year, Marcus's contributions to the Lee County Republican Party will be remembered and appreciated. We join his family, friends, and community in reflecting on a life that touched many people.
We are grateful for Marcus's service, friendship, and the time and talents he shared with our Party. His memory will remain an important part of our organization's history.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Marcus. Thank you for your service and contributions to the Lee County Republican Party and our community.
