Another JAW-some school year comes to a close at Sandy Elementary. Take a moment to listen to our 5th Graders talk about their FIN-tastic experiance at Sandy Elementary. Sandy Elementary is a magical place where students thrive academically and build community while we promote safe, kind and responsible behavior. We LOVE our 5th Graders!! A JAW-some Congratulations goes out to our Family Learning Center participants who earned a Certificate of Advancement during our FLC End-of-the-Year Celebration! Led by our AMAZING Mrs. Haley Alvarado, our Family Learning Center operates Monday- Thursday during the school year, providing FREE English lessons, along with community and friendship. This is an incredible FREE resource, offered through the Canyons School District, and each participant has the opportunity to create a brighter future for their children and families. We LOVE our FLC and we LOVE Mrs. Hay!! We will see everyone again in September!! SHARK IT!!

¡Una JAW-some felicitación para los participantes de nuestro Family Learning Center que obtuvieron un Certificado de Avance durante nuestra Celebración de Fin de Año del FLC! Bajo el liderazgo de nuestra INCREÍBLE Sra. Haley Alvarado, nuestro Family Learning Center funciona de lunes a jueves durante el año escolar, ofreciendo clases de inglés GRATUITAS, además de comunidad y amistad. Este es un recurso GRATUITO increíble, ofrecido a través del Distrito Escolar de Canyons, y cada participante tiene la oportunidad de construir un futuro más brillante para sus hijos y sus familias. ¡¡AMAMOS a nuestro FLC y AMAMOS a la Sra. Our 2025-2026 Preschool Shark Pups graduated from Sandy Elementary Preschool today! The students performed songs and poems and showed us everything they learned this year- which was ALOT!!! A FIN-tastic THANK YOU goes out to our seriously AMAZING Preschool team: Teacher Kristen, Mrs. Melanie, & Mrs. Natalie.
Sandy Elementary staff and families are incredibly lucky to have you three ladies teaching and loving our preschool students. Watch Out, KINDERGARTEN- HERE WE COME!!

¡Nuestros «Cachorros Tiburón» de preescolar 2025-2026 se graduaron hoy del Preescolar de Sandy Elementary! Los estudiantes interpretaron canciones y recitaron poemas, mostrándonos todo lo que aprendieron este año... ¡¡¡que fue muchísimo!!! Un AGRADECIMIENTO «aleti-fantástico» va dirigido a nuestro equipo de preescolar, que es verdaderamente INCREÍBLE: la maestra Kristen, la Sra. Melanie y la Sra. Natalie.
El personal y las familias de Sandy Elementary somos increíblemente afortunados de contar con ustedes tres para enseñar y brindar tanto cariño a nuestros estudiantes de preescolar. ¡¡¡Estamos MÁS que listos para el KINDERGARTEN!!!

Please mark your calendars for our End-of-the-Year Sandy Community Carnival-Friday, May 15th from 4pm-7pm. FREE entry and games. FREE student raffle. NO tickets. NO wristbands. Just come and have fun with our Sandy Shark Community.

A variety of Food Truck options will be available for purchase(Card and Cash accepted).
We will also sell Popcorn for .50cents and Cotton Candy for $1.00 (Cash Only).
Entertainment will begin at 5:30pm.
Hope to see all our Sandy Shark Families there!!
