🚨 Entering Auto Suspect Located Hiding Behind Dealership

On May 27, 2026, at approximately 1:59 a.m., officers responded to a report of an entering auto in progress at 7555 Roswell Rd.

While canvassing the area, officers located the suspect, identified as Terry Burley (28), hiding behind a nearby dealership. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with Entering Auto and Loitering/Prowling.

Officers also discovered the suspect had active probation warrants related to burglary charges out of Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office

Today, we pause to remember the men and women who never made it home.

Behind every name honored on Memorial Day is a son, daughter, mother, father, friend, or neighbor who answered the call to serve our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. Their loss is felt not only by their families, but by an entire nation grateful for their courage and service.
