Western Connecticut Council of Governments (WestCOG) serves eighteen municipalities in western Connecticut; Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Norwalk, Redding, Ridgefield, Sherman, Stamford, Weston, Westport, and Wilton. WestCOG was formed out of the merger of the South Western Regional Planning Agency (SWRPA) and the Ho

usatonic Valley Council of Elected Officials (HVCEO). This gateway region is economically vital, geographically diverse, and is home to abundant cultural, natural resource, and lifestyle amenities. WestCOG provides transportation, environmental, economic, and other planning services.
