So, some good news, our building will be put on its foundation on Monday 9/14/2026. Just as an FYI they will be starting to move the building at 7am. We are not sure how long it will take but traffic will be shut down on Maple Street for lengthy periods of time. So, if you can avoid that area that would be great. Thanks for your understanding. It should only take one day to move the building.

We just picked up some free bike helmets from the Brain Injury Assocation of NH. If you or someone you knows needs a bike helmet please stop by the Moultonboro PD and we will provide one to you at no cost.

Today we went around town checking on some of our older citizens to make sure that they were doing fine with the heat. I am happy to report that they were all fine. There are cooling centers at the Benz Center and the Sandwich Fire Department, if you need it.

Please be careful, as the temps are supposed to be high for the next few days. Please call us if you think of anyone who might need to be checked on.

Officer Fogarty attended Crisis Intervention Team training. All members of the Sandwich Police Department have attended CIT training. This training helps us to identify and work with persons who are having a crisis in their lives.
