⚠️ The storm's heavy winds caused some hazardous conditions across the city.
⚡If you see a downed utility pole or power line, call 911 immediately. Do not approach it.
🌳 There are also some downed trees and limbs on streets and sidewalks throughout the city. Please use caution when traveling.
To report a downed tree or limb on public property, or downed street signs, call 419-627-5829, or submit it online at https://www.cityofsandusky.com/Report
🚦Traffic Signals: As a reminder, if a traffic signal is not working, treat the intersection as a 4-way stop.
⚠️ If a roadway is flooded, please do no attempt to drive through it.

Safety Town is back this August! Our Wightman-Wieber Safety Town program is open to children entering Kindergarten and covers everything they need to know before heading to school: fire safety, stranger danger, 911 and emergencies, road and railroad safety, animal and water safety, bus and transit safety, healthy living, and home safety.

Every participant goes home with a bicycle helmet, t-shirt, and certificate of completion.

Registration deadline is August 1. This program is offered at no cost thanks to the Wightman-Wieber Community Foundation.

The Sandusky Farmers Market returns to downtown Sandusky tomorrow, Saturday, June 13! The market runs from 8:00am-12:00pm and will be at its new location along Columbus Ave.

We're excited to welcome back all our local vendors for another great season. Be sure to follow the Sandusky Farmers Market for more information and updates.

🅿️ With the market moving to Columbus Ave, additional parking will now be available along E. Washington Row, as well as W. Washington Row. Market Street will be open to traffic crossing Columbus Ave, so the parking garage will also be easily accessible from all directions. The first Party at the Pier summer concert of the season is tonight at 7pm on the Jackson Street Pier!

Tonight's concert features Legends of New Country: Wallen & Wilson from Nashville, Tennessee, a tribute to Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson.

🚦 Traffic lights are out at several intersections along Hayes, Perkins, Camp and other streets. Please remember that intersections with non-working traffic signals should be treated as a an all-way stop. 🛑 Please travel carefully and be attentive when driving through intersections.
