We had our last Love Where You Live Neighborhood Cleanup of the season this morning at Pipe Creek! Thanks to the Friends of Pipe Creek, Sandusky Boys Basketball Team, and other volunteers for coming out today.

Also, a huge thank you to Samantha Smith and Susan Zeier, who volunteered to lead each of the cleanups this season.

Thanks to everyone who helped clean up our community this year.

On this 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives on that day. We especially remember the firefighters and law enforcement officers who ran into the danger in service to their fellow citizens. 🇺🇸

🚧 Traffic Alert: Road Closures and Traffic Impacts This Week 🚧

We're asking residents and visitors to plan ahead for several road closures and traffic impacts related to utility work and special events this week.

🔹 Columbus Avenue Road Closure
Thursday, Sept. 10 - Friday, Sept. 11
We'll be closing Columbus Avenue between Scott Street and Townsend Street on Thursday, Sept. 10 for roadway repairs. The road is expected to reopen Friday morning, Sept. 11.
Detour:
Northbound traffic: Columbus Ave. → Scott St. → Warren St. → Monroe St.
Southbound traffic: Monroe St. → Warren St. → Scott St. → Columbus Ave.

🚗 Cruisin' By The Bay Car Show
Friday, Sept. 11 - Saturday, Sept. 12
Several downtown streets will be closed and parking restrictions will be in effect beginning at 7 a.m. Friday through 6 p.m. Saturday, including portions of:
• Columbus Avenue
• Washington Street
• Washington Row
• Market Street
• Water Street
Visitors to Sandusky City Hall, the Erie County Office Building, and downtown businesses can access the Erie County Parking Garage via W. Market Street and Jackson Street until 5 p.m. Friday. You can access the garage via Jackson -> W. Market

🚶 Sandusky Artisans Recovery Walk
Saturday, Sept. 12
The walk will begin on the 100 block of E. Market Street and travel along Wayne Street to the Jackson Street Pier. Parking restrictions will be in effect on the 100 block of E. Market Street from midnight to noon.

🧑‍🌾 Sandusky Farmers Market
Saturday, Sept. 12
The Farmers Market is relocating to Market Street this weekend due to the car show. E. Market Street between Wayne Street and Franklin Street will be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking restrictions will be in place from 3 a.m. to 1 p.m.

🅿️ Wayne Street Parking Lot Closure
Saturday, Sept. 12
The public parking lot on Wayne Street will be closed all day for the Lauralee S. Krabill Foundation Fundraiser event with Clubhouse No. 3.
